Once you realize you’ll soon be having your first baby, there are a myriad of emotions – excitement, fear, hope, and the list goes on. Expecting your first child really is an amazing experience. 2) Eat crackers or bread to alleviate morning sickness. While it can sound counter-intuitive, eating something light in the morning can help fend off the nausea. Try it even when you don’t feel like eating anything.

3) Make sure you are getting all your essential nutrients. Hopefully your doctor prescribed a neo-natal vitamin. However, with some women not going to the doctor until the 2nd trimester, it’s important that you begin taking some sort of supplement as early as you know you are pregnant. in addition, make sure you are eating balanced meals

4) Do not lower your activity level unless advice by your doctor. At times you will feel lethargic, but overall it will be important to stay somewhat active. This will keep your circulatory system working and increase blood flow to your baby during this crucial developmental time.
